THE BUDDHIST SOCIETY

a) Copies of the Trustees’s Report and the Financial Statements for the year to 30 April 2011 will be available from the office prior to the AGM or on receipt of an S.A.E.

b) Nomination for Council should be received by the Registrar of the Society at 58 Eccleston Square, London SW1V 1PH no later than Friday, 6 January 2012. Election will be by a majority vote of those present at the meeting.

c) Members standing for either election or re-election are requested to supply relevant information about themselves, together with a small photograph, to assist those participating with the elections.

d) Private motions must be sponsored by three other members and be received by the Registrar no later than Friday 6 January 2012.

f) Any member entitled to attend and vote at the above meeting may appoint a proxy to attend and vote on his behalf. A proxy should be a member of the company. Proxy forms can be obtained from the Registered Office at 58 Eccleston Square, London SW1V 1PH and must be lodged there no later than 48 hours before the meeting.

The AGM will be followed by refreshments
