THE BUDDHIST SOCIETY

will be held at 58 Eccleston Square, London SW1V 1PH on

Saturday 2nd October 2010 at 3pm.

4. Adoption of the Trustee’s Report and the Financial Statements for the year to 30 April 2010 (a)
5. Approval and adoption of the revised Articles of Association including the Annexed Memorandum of Association of the Company (b)

a) Copies of the Trustees’s Report and the Financial Statements for the year to 30 April 2010 will be available from the office prior to the AGM or on receipt of an S.A.E.

b) Copies of the revised Articles of Association including the Annexed Memorandum of Association of the Company will be available from the office prior to the AGM or on receipt of an S.A.E.

c) Nomination for Council should be received by the Registrar of the Society at 58 Eccleston Square, London SW1V 1PH no later than Friday, 17 September 2010. Election will be by a majority vote of those present at the meeting.

d) Members standing for either election or re-election are requested to supply relevant information about themselves, together with a small photograph, to assist those participating with the elections.

e) Private motions must be sponsored by three other members and be received by the Registrar no later than Friday 17 September 2010.

f) Any member entitled to attend and vote at the above meeting may appoint a proxy to attend and vote on his behalf. A proxy should be a member of the company. Proxy forms can be obtained from the Registered Office at 58 Eccleston Square, London SW1V 1PH and must be lodged there no later than 48 hours before the meeting.

The AGM will be followed by refreshments
