Both membership of the Society and subscription to The Middle Way are for one year, reviewed twice a year in June and December (depending on the date of joining).

Foreign payments
All payments should be made in Sterling. If local currency or drafts are sent in lieu, please add the equivalent of £ 8.00 to cover bank exchange charges.
Receipts
In the interests of economy, no receipts will be sent unless specifically requested.
Membership includes
- a subscription to the Society's quarterly journal, The Middle Way - for members only (free of further charge)
- use of the library (postal service available)
- occasional functions and receptions
The Buddhist Society is a

Charity number 1113705.
As with other similar organizations the Buddhist Society, a Registered
Charity, is in constant need of funds in order to be able to function
and to continue its work in promoting its Objects.
In addition to providing for its own varied programme, its publishing
activities and other projects and events, it has from time to time responded
to the expressed needs of other Buddhist organizations. Dana (donations)
are gratefully received.
CAF Vouchers
Please note that Charities Aid Foundation vouchers may only be accepted
for the purpose of donation, not in payment of membership fees.
If you wish, you can subscribe to The Middle Way without becoming
a member of the Society.
